As an author or co-author I’ve published several books on multimedia and Web software development. I began college at the University of Chicago as a biochemistry major, graduated in 1982 with a degree in English Literature, and immediately jumped into the software industry as a programmer/entrepreneur. All this finally made sense when in 1995 I combined my technical and story-telling skills to design, produce, and edit an interactive documentary about the Grand Canyon, which led me back to my creative roots.
In my other profession, as an Internet Program Manager, I’ve worked on exciting projects at several brilliant companies: RealNetworks, Microsoft, HTC, Disney, Nintendo, and currently, Amazon.com.
I live in Washington State, just outside of Seattle, with my cute wife, Nancy and our too-lazy-to-be-vicious Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Pumpkin Pie. We have six children, Micha, Kristen, Coby, Ryan, and Ariel, Raviv, and two grandchildren, Jensen and Iyar.
